Yotam RIGHT!!!!!

Yotam Solomon's event Thursday evening was spectacular to say the least.  The event took place at a private estate up in the hills of West Hollywood, overlooking the beautiful  LA night skyline.  It was a little bit too chilly up there in the hills for my taste but other than that it was well worth the trek.

His collection dubbed The Native American Collection FW 2010 was simply stunning.  Lots of cream, silver, black satin, a gorgeous long black dress that I had my eye on was simply to die for.  Beautiful attention to detail, great lines, color, and texture.  A very versatile collection, from the little black dress, to the business suit, all were magnificent.

The Red Carpet took place outside by the pool with models coming out one by one in Yotam's amazing designs and fabulous shoes! (so jealous!!!) After the presentation, Celebrities made their entrance on the Red Carpet and then we were all hustled into the warm house for Cocktails and delish Hors D'Oeuvres!  I have to give a shout out to the fabulous Diana Phillips Chocolatier Extraordinaire.  Her tasty treats were infused with Jasmine and Lavender.  I wanted to fill my purse up to the brim with them, however I did not want to get thrown out of the venue!!!

Once inside the Models posed around the modern furniture. I was hoping one of the models would drape herself on top of the Grand Piano, but alas my wish wasn't granted!

Niki Shadrow designed all of the superb jewelry that accompanied Yotam's designs.  I will definitely have to spend some shekels and get me a few pieces.  They were abso gorgeous gold pieces that coiled and snaked around the models throats and arms.

Yotam's footwear was a work of art.  Lots of funky platform type heels with amazing color and texture combinations.  He will be releasing his new Menswear line any day now and I can't wait to see what fabulousness he has created.  If its anything near this Collection I will worship him forever!!!

Bottom line, I LOVE Yotam Solomon.  I have seen his Collections for the past 4 years or so and have yet to be disappointed.

Yotam Solomon's wholehearted commitment to the environment and expert design is evident in his new Native American Collection. His imaginative reinvention of earth-centered traditions fuses nature and culture in bold new ways. The addition of sportier footwear designs to his repertoire will no doubt win over many new eco-conscious consumers.
